With more than 120 volumes and databases, the Chinese Dictionary Compendium houses the largest collection of high-quality dictionaries and reference works in modern and traditional Chinese. | Shu Tong Wen Ancient Books Database — Sibu congkan |
Sibu congkan (四部叢刊) was compiled in the early 20th century by the renowned scholar and publisher Mr. Zhang Yuanji (張元濟), who gathered various classics of Chinese ancient texts. This work includes a total of 477 titles, 3,134 volumes, and nearly 100 million characters. Its greatest feature lies in its emphasis on textual variants, making it the most authoritative complete presentation of ancient text editions.
